SP Energy Networks owns and manages the underground cables and overhead power lines that bring the electricity into your home or business across Merseyside, Cheshire, North Shropshire and North Wales.

SP Energy Networks are dedicated to delivering a safe and reliable electricity supply to all of our 1.5 million customers in the SP Manweb licence area 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

We don’t sell electricity and we don’t issue electricity bills, that is the role of your electricity supplier.

We’re investing £400 million in the electricity network across Merseyside to strengthen and secure our network to cope with the ever growing demand for electricity and also allow power generated from renewable sources to come back into the network from a variety of supply points.

We are actively recruiting new apprentices and graduates over the next few years to replenish our workforce and help us to deliver all of our investment projects.

SP Energy Networks are committed to building a strong relationship with our local communities to help our customers understand how we can support their aspirations for a lower carbon future.
